    Verdict

SIMPLE JIM won this last year for James Hetherton and his successor at the Roger Fell owned yard in Nawton, David O'Meara will be hoping for a win in this year's race. He is 1lb higher than his last winning mark but he acts on the ground and loves it round here so gets the vote. Dream Risk could be a danger after winning when last seen in an Amateur Riders' flat race at Carlisle when ridden by Serena Brotherton. She has since come a close second over timber and this versatile filly could go close. Tilos Gem runs off a realistic looking mark but is opposable having only won once in more than twenty starts.
