In depth

Verdict

MATA HARI BLUE is back in top form having beaten Dickie Le Davoir at Southwell last month. The latter has since landed a hat trick so the form looks rock-solid and John Holt's mare won her maiden over C&D last year. Collect Art has recorded all his wins so far over 7f, including his latest at Wolverhampton last month, but the long losing run of Klynch has seen him tumble down the weights and he produced a better effort at Southwell last time. Welcome Approach can race off a lower mark back on this surface as his last six wins have been on the Polytrack though he hasn't scored on turf since 2006.
