Verdict

VIKING RIDGE can make the long trek up from Gloucestershire pay dividends as he looked to have plenty more in the locker when making a winning debut at Huntingdon last month. Ueueteotl wasn't disgraced at Wetherby following his victory at Carlisle but tackles 2m for the first time here, while Kilcaskin Star needs to improve on last week's fourth at Sedgefield if he's to figure. Last month's Sedgefield third Justjoe is interesting, however, and newcomers Acer Spades and Big Water have decent pedigrees. Market moves for either Sibling Rivalry or Smadynium would also be significant.
