Verdict

After returning with a moderate effort over 7f at Beverley, BALTIC BOMBER was strongly fancied when dropped to 6f at Redcar and duly obliged. That was only a maiden handicap so he's been raised just 3lb and can complete the double. Celestial Dawn scored over 6f at Bath but was raised 8lb and couldn't quite cope at Warwick a couple of weeks later though she found the 5f trip too short. The lightly-raced Untold Melody scored at Southwell in April but hasn't been able to match that form on Turf where she's been looking one-paced while Lisiere is being tried in blinkers after a couple of moderate runs following her Pontefract maiden victory. Blue Shoes likes soft ground and, with her yard in such good form, is capable of getting into the mix.
