In depth

Verdict

Imperial Vic won twice at around this trip at Musselburgh before a decent effort there on his handicap debut. Those victories give him plenty to do with his penalties as Abbey Storm, a winning point-to-pointer, looked a very promising recruit to hurdles when easily landing a Musselburgh maiden last month. He's also penalised and TIPSY GYPSY, who was purchased for £95,000 after landing a point-to-point at Dromahane in November, can take advantage of the allowances and start his new career for Tim Vaughan with a debut victory. Sharivarry, a dual winner between the flags, was behind Abbey Storm last month but the longer trip here can enable him to get closer.
