Verdict

Always Rainbows can beat In Good Faith, Scoop Thirty Nine and Only Words in a competitive contest. Always Rainbows was a winner on the Flat in Ireland and looked destined for better things when successful a couple of times at Wetherby in 2002. However, it is only lately that he started to look more like his old self, thanks in no small part to the fact that he has slipped down the handicap. His third to Nowell House at Carlisle a fortnight ago augured well and is as good as anything else in the line-up has to offer. In Good Faith has been in good form in selling company but may prefer a longer trip, while Scoop Thirty Nine belied a 309-day absence when third at Sedgefield recently and should be on the premises. Only Words was further back in seventh at Sedgefield so looks held, but Brush A King's stable are in a bit of form so he should be included for place purposes. A small wager on Always Rainbows may prove productive.
