Waltz Darling has been in good form at a lowly level over hurdles and this isn't the most competitive of handicaps. Naburn is only 3lb higher than when successful over course and distance in September but was beaten 25 lengths when only third at Southwell on his reappearance. Rosairlie will love the ground but remains high enough in the weights and 2m is really her trip. JAN SMUTS won twice in the first half of last season and was quite consistent thereafter. Today's going and trip look ideal and he shouldn't be far away if fully wound-up, though Arashi is fit from the all-weather.
