In depth

Verdict

JOLIE BLONDE stands out in this. She made a belated winning return to action over 1m5f at Bath and can defy a penalty given Sir Mark Prescott's impressive strike rate at the track. Mr Wickfield was still beaten a long way at Wolverhampton despite finishing second and Impeccability makes more appeal on her recent third over 1m6f here. May Hay is lightly-raced on the Flat and could figure while the inconsistent Anne's Valentino has a shout if posting one of her better efforts. Strikemaster won this back in 2011 and should have come on for a reappearance run at Musselburgh.
