Verdict

Los Nadis looked in fine form when comfortably landing an amateurs' event last week but a penalty makes this much more difficult. Mark Johnston generally has a go at winning this and it would be no surprise to see CAT O' NINE TAILS run well at a big price. He's hopeless on soft ground, which he encountered at Ascot last time, but he found his form around this time last year and scored three times. King's Counsel has never won at anywhere near this trip on the Flat but a victory over hurdles suggests he won't be daunted while Rosewin continues in fine shape and very nearly defied a 9lb rise for her previous C&D victory when running John Forbes close at Newcastle.
