Verdict

The draw could prove vital in this maiden that ends proceedings today and for us PROUD TIMES looks best with Dame Anouska and Business Class offered as the alternatives. Alan Swinbank's gelding makes only his second career-start here today and his first in over 6 months. The three-year-old travelled strongly last time out and finished the runner up on debut. He has bucket loads of speed and in a race such as this, such an attribute can prove the deciding factor. Dame Anouska was impressive on debut last month and cannot be overlooked here. She finished second there and any improvement on that outing will make here hard to beat. Business Class was a well-beaten third in a 7f maiden here on his debut last September, he looks to be a neat sort and he is open to plenty of improvement. Fortunate Flame was fourth when last over course and distance, the going here will be against him though. Preference is for Proud Times.
