In depth

Verdict

A really competitive handicap in which David Nicholls pitches in with a trio of contenders including two last-time-out winners in the shape of West Leake Hare and Indego Blues. Both should go well but a chance is taken with the third member of the threesome, LLEWELLYN, who looked a sure-fire future winner until finishing out the back here when last seen. Something must have been amiss that day and he's been given a nice break since that reversal. Our Boy Jack and Solar Spirit have their fair share of weight but it would be folly to exclude either from calculations while though Fayr Fall has taken time to find his form this term, he was much more like his old self when a close-up fourth at Redcar behind Wannabe King.
