In depth

Verdict

Faith And Fortune, a half-sister to Another Promise, is one to watch with an eye on the future but Evelith Regent is the one to focus on with today in mind. Overthrow has already won a race so must be respected whilst Night Force is an interesting newcomer. Alan Swinbank's domination of these contests shows no sign of abating and Evelith Regent can progress sufficiently from his promising debut to land the spoils this afternoon. Overthrow won a modest contest in good style but will find life harder in this company under a penalty. There should be more to come from Murphys Beau and Faith And Reason in the fullness of time but the chief threat could come from one of the newcomers, Never Ask, Rural Pride and Night Force. Evelith Regent is the one to beat though and earns our vote.
