Verdict

It could pay to stick with DUNGEEL in this. He got off the mark at the first time of asking under Rules when scoring at Leicester and neither a penalty nor the longer trip should be a problem as he's been placed in point-to-points on three occasions. Gonow found Corrin Wood too good at Carlisle last time and that looks superior form to Attycran's second in a maiden hurdle at Hexham while Mr Puck has made the frame in two of his three starts over timber and will have benefited for last month's reappearance at Doncaster. Bumper runner-up Mac Steamy is probably best watched after being pulled-up on his hurdling bow.
