    Verdict

FLYING DOCTOR has won three times around here and is 12lb lower than last of those victories a year ago. This is his time of the year and, though hasn't shown much recently, a return to familiar surroundings could spark a revival. Executive's Hall also has a decent record around here and has the better recent form. But he was well beaten off a lower mark at Bangor last time and the enigmatic Pete is no certainty to stay this far and finished behind another course and distance winner, Rare Coincidence, over 2m2f here last month. Galley Slave is on a long losing run that stretches back more than two years and 43 races.
