Verdict

A trappy conclusion to the two-day meeting and 15 runners makes this the worst possible shape for each-way punters. Maurice Barnes had his string in excellent shape on Saturday and we can do worse than row in with DYNAMIC DRIVE to put the seal on a successful long weekend for the yard. He posted a good second to Trend Is My Friend at Perth recently, having suggested on two previous starts that he was coming nicely into form and can go one better here. Early Applause represents Nicky Richards who has his select band of summer jumpers in decent fettle and the Royal Applause gelding looks the main danger having placed at Market Rasen the past twice. The Leech yard is a hard one to read but keep an eye on Seaside Shuffle in the market. He'd be a definite contender if money came for him with Paul Moloney booked.
