Verdict

Forever My Friend carries a penalty for Wednesday's win at Uttoxeter and beat Wait No More at Newton Abbot last month. He's not easily dismissed despite his weight burden but CRUCHAIN is just preferred. He went very close on a couple of occasions in May and can effectively race off a lower mark with Robert Dunne's claim taken into account. Baltic Pathfinder has the form to figure but a lengthy absence and fast ground are not in his favour while Peak Seasons was still beaten a long way despite finishing second at Southwell last time.
