In depth

Verdict

It's usually worth following a filly in form and Oddysey hasn't done much wrong lately. She improved again at Haydock to reverse earlier Ayr running with Social Rhythm and, though 8lb higher now, is facing more exposed rivals here. FIRST CLASS FAVOUR wasn't far behind at Ayr, however, and is much better off at the weights now. A winner on soft going at Beverley last month, she may be the one to beat as she found 1m2f too far at Ripon last time. Painted Tail probably needs a bit further but can't be ignored and is usually more reliable than the others.
