        Verdict

        Polar Forest seemed to spurn a good opportunity to land a first career success last time and no doubt this is the day he'll come good now patience has worn thin. However, BALTIC PRINCE is becoming a really reliable handicapper for Paul Green, typified by a battling success over Chester specialist Queen Aggie at that venue this month, his fourth success of a busy 2013. He finds himself on a career-high mark of 67 but a 2lb rise for that recent win is perfectly OK. Gabrial The Thug came back to form last time when a close second to Nurpur but may still inhabit too high a mark, likewise Kolonel Kirkup. Fraserburgh, generally disappointing, is down to a tempting rating if finding something approaching his best.
