In depth

Verdict

The most competitive handicap of the day with many in with a chance including Kaymich Perfecto, Westcourt Dream, Instructor and Gem Bien with a the tentative vote going to the last named. A winner twice from his last two starts Gem Bien has done little wrong even though the two wins were on the all weather. His turf rating has been little effected so if translating that form back to turf he will go close. Kaymich Perfecto has been knocking on the door of late and this looks like a slight drop in grade so is worthy of mention as is Westcourt Dream who comes here on the back of a win at Haydock and has been in great form of late. Instuctor who carried top weight made all to win at Haydock has more to find here but will have his supporters but for the winner we return to Gem Bien.
