In depth

Verdict

Mister Hyde has top weight here, despite the fact that he's never actually managed to get his head in front over fences. He was only awarded his victory at Uttoxeter last season in the stewards' room. Though successful over hurdles on his reappearance, Jonjo O'Neill's gelding is worth taking on with POWER PACK JACK. Nigel Twiston-Davies' only runner at the meeting found The Magic Bishop more than three lengths too good over C&D 13 days ago but that run will have boosted his confidence and he's 7lb better off now with the winner. All of the others have a bit to prove at present as they are returning from time on the sidelines of varying degrees.
