MONICALEW produced a better effort to finish fourth at Newmarket last time. She's dropped in class today and with Walter Swinburn's runners in such good form may well open her account. However, they are plenty who pose a threat with other unexposed fillies such as Formidable Girl, Tidal Run and Inside open to improvement, while Smart Step's best form at York last season entitles her to consideration. Tarantella Lady has slid down the weights to a tempting mark but Paco Belle has proved best on the Polytrack so far.
