Verdict

MISTER MARKER returned to winning ways when scoring over C&D on his latest start and looks capable of following up. Nicky Richard's chaser beat Lord Villez on that occasion and a good run from the latter, who runs earlier on today's card, would boost confidence. Douglas Julian has won five of his last six starts but has been raised 11lb for his latest success at Haydock, while Lockstown is upped in class after scoring over 3m at Newcastle recently. Prosecco won at Ayr last month on only his second start over fences and there should be more to come from him.
