BOTHAM has won two of his last three races and is taken to add to that tally in the finale with both Realt Na Mara and Redwater River worth noting. The selection has scored at Hamilton twice in the past month and as he won an apprentice event last time out and gets the chance to reappear without a penalty. He therefore is in effect six pounds well in at the weights and if he can recaprture his recent form he ought to win again. Realt Na Mara on the other hand does carry his penalty for winning at Southwell last week. He has never won off his current mark in the past and with top weight to carry life will be tough. Redwater River is four pounds higher in the weights since winning at Catterick last time out. He had dropped steadily in the ratings and took advantage of his lenient mark and should once again be respected. Botham is potentially well treated and with luck in running he is difficult to oppose.
