In depth

Verdict

SIRENUSE caught the eye on her seasonal reappearance and is the form pick to land this fillies' handicap at the expense of Speedy Senorita and Jilly Why. The selection won as a two year old last year and shaped well on her come back run at Thirsk last week finishing a decent second to Lucky Art. She is sure to benefit for the outing and will strip fitter this time around and with that in mind she is the one horse in the race to stay on the right side of. Speedy Senorita has a six pound penalty to shrug off after winning at Beverley last week. This means she is running off a career high mark so a personal best will be required. Jilly Why scored at Nottingham on her penultimate outing but did not show the same level of form off a five pound higher mark at Haydock last time out and for that reason should be treated with some caution. Sirenuse is still unexposed and is open to further improvement so gets the strong vote.
