Verdict

Dreamers Of Dreams (fourth at Haydock yesterday) was third over C&D last month when the odds-on Avenging Ace could only manage a disappointing sixth. The latter is undoubtedly capable of better and it would be no surprise if the placings were reversed today but we'll stick with the proven form of ROWDY ROCHER. He's already won a point-to-point, a bumper and a hurdle this year and there was nothing wrong with his latest fourth in a better race at Newcastle. The heavy ground here will play to his strengths and he may be a better bet than stablemates Glenora Gale and Nuts N Bolts. Kings Canyon and Mini The Minx should improve for recent runs and look best of the rest.
