Verdict

Despite his age, TARTAN SNOW retains plenty of enthusiasm and beat Supreme Builder by nine lengths at Kelso earlier this month. He reserves his best for the Scottish track but has also won here in the past and is probably the one to beat again. Special Portrait was very disappointing at Leicester last time but Kildonan won between the flags at Jedburgh three weeks ago and Ngong Hills was a good second on the same day to Galant Nuit and has place prospects again. The Wifes Pet was only beaten a neck over 2m4f at Musselburgh last month and looks best of the rest.
