Verdict

Kings Canyon and Nalim could both leave disappointing debut efforts behind but may need more time. Rojo Vivo was second over C&D last month but still beaten more than 20 lengths, while Zaru was soon left behind when the pace quickened at Ayr in January. Molannarch stayed on well when third on her debut at Kelso and should know more today, however, though she may still have to give best to JULIA TOO. Despite showing obvious signs of inexperience, the latter still had enough in the locker to see off Irish Chaperone and the well-backed Gogeo over 1m6f here last month and may well have improved enough in the interim to defy her penalty.
