    Verdict

Moss Cloud sprang a surprise at Newcastle in November but was then well beaten over a longer trip here the following month and hasn't been seen since. Hallmark Star has only found one too good over track and trip on his last two starts but is still climbing the weights while Sleep In First is a long-standing maiden over hurdles, though has won off higher marks over fences. SNOWED IN might have gone close here last month had he not taken the third-last by its roots. His light weight is a plus on the ground so he gets a tentative vote as Badea has shown nothing so far and The Orange Rogue was engaged at Kelso yesterday.
