Verdict

PYJAMA GAME was returning from a six month absence when third at Kelso on only his second start over hurdles. He'll have come on for that pipe-opener and is just preferred to Tap Night, who also makes his handicap debut here having been placed three times during the summer. Howizee has every chance on his earlier form but was pulled-up on last week's reappearance, while the three-year-old Prince Freddie ran well when second at Perth in September. Diamond D'Amour could prove best of the remainder on his return to action.
