In depth

Verdict

Bob's World looked a very bright prospect last spring and though he's been disappointing he'll appreciate dropping down in grade. Sam Lord scored at Newcastle a month ago but ran a shocker when attempting a double at Sedgefield three weeks later. Twoways was facing heavy ground for the first time in his career at Towcester and showed how much it suited with a battling success. He's up 6lb but it will be a surprise if he doesn't get competitive. The Weatherman fell at the third in that latter event but it's a long time since he showed any worthwhile form. NEXT HIGHT had shown the occasional glimmer of form after arriving from Germany and justified some strong support with a convincing victory on heavy going at Sedgefield. He's shot up 11lb in the ratings but his rider's claim will help and a double looks on the cards.
