In depth

Verdict

Terenzium can land the finale at the expense of Boy Dancer, William John and Red Lantern to name but a few. Micky Hammond seems to have his runners in good shape at last, and with apprentice Jamie Moriarty riding full of confidence at present, hopes are high that the combination can come out on top with Terenzium. The five-year-old was having only his second outing of the year when third at Beverley a fortnight ago, and although not too consistent in the past, should at least be fit enough to do himself justice. Boy Dancer is a similar sort in that he does not shine too often, but is another that can be fancied here on his close second at Pontefract, while William John, successful over the course-and-distance last August, has been hurdling, but returned to the Flat with a fair third at Beverley recently. Any support for Red Lantern should be heeded, but we shall remain loyal to Terenzium.
