    Verdict

Puppet Theatre has been well beaten at Southwell recently and Asha has a bit to find but the remaining quartet can be given chances. Great Wave dropped to this trip for the first time in a maiden handicap at Yarmouth and very nearly caught Mimi Luke. Percy's Gal hasn't been beaten far in any of her last three starts in handicaps and her regular partner's claim is a bonus though she was behind TWO SMART when the latter finished runner-up at Pontefract last month and Karl Burke's filly looks the one to beat on that form. Whispering Star has only ever raced on an artificial surface and her last runs have been over much further but she's been very well supported on several occasions so someone must think highly of her.
