Verdict

Effective,Viewforth and Dizzy In The Head look the three to concentrate on in this contest with the narrow vote given to Effective. The selection has won his last two races in good style and won with a little in hand when beating Bold Maggie last time out. Granted this looks tougher but he still looks ahead of the handicapper and under his optimum conditions he is taken to win again. Viewforth rates the main danger on his best form but he disappointed behind Dizzy In The Head last time but he is better off with that rival here and he has definite place claims if he ordains to put his best foot forward. Dizzy In The Head is sure to have her supporters as she won well last time out but that was over the minimum trip and her form over this distance leaves her with a little to find. Of the remainder Linden's Lady ran as if returning to form when second behind The Old Solider last time and is another with place claims but Effective is in the form of his life at the moment and is taken to win again.
