Annibale Caro showed enough on her seasonal debut to suggest he can land a race of this nature, Reaching Out and Love Beauty can be the ones to chase him home. Sir Mark Prescott's colt ran third behind Boxall at Pontefract last Sunday and after having every chance started to hang left in the closing stages. That was probably down to greenness and we should see a much improved performance today. Reaching Out ran well in a Leicester handicap last time and should go close today, especially with the useful claimer knocking five pounds off his back. Love Beauty looks the pick of the Mark Johnston pair. You have to ignore his last outing when he was never at the races, but his two previous efforts were very promising and he should be involved in the finish. Numero Due at the foot of the handicap could do best of the others, but Annibale Caro is expected to come on leaps and bounds and gets our vote.
