Verdict

Silver Blue, Bassinet and Bienheureux are the trio to focus on here with Silver Blue taken to score on a course he likes. Bassinet is still a maiden but is relatively consistent and should handle this easy surface-he has been placed on it in the past. He is a pound lower than when a staying on second last time and he can go well. Twice a winner already this season, including a win over this course and distance, Bienheureux carries a six pound penalty and has run well on testing ground in the past. He is clearly in good heart and can go close. Silver Blue is eight pounds higher than when scoring over this course and distance last time. That was his second win in his last three starts, but he was denied a clear run on the other occasion. His ability to handle this easier surface is a slight concern as he has not acted on it in the past. However, Silver Blue is running well just now, and he can continue to turn back the clock and take this.
