In depth

Verdict

ROCK RELIEF can give weight and a beating to Easy Wonder and Stargazy. Sir Mark Prescott's charge has been found wanting over slightly further but it is worth noting that he showed his best form at this venue over seven furlongs and in light of his poor form, he has been able to creep in below the rating ceiling. Seb Sanders takes the mount. Easy Wonder is not a prolific type but he goes well for Cathy Gannon and has obvious claims at what are likely to be juicy odds. Stargazy won last time out over a mile though has plenty of experience of running over seven. Hypnotist has to bounce back from a stinker at Thirsk whilst Lady Lam seems to have turned over a new leaf since joining Sylvester Kirk. She was won twice this season though this level of opposition is much stronger than the level she campaigned against on her latest success. A number of disappointing sorts on view so we'll take the chance that a combination of handicapper's relent and a drop in trip will work the oracle for Rock Relief.
