BLUE TANGO came up against an improver last time and should gain compensation here by taking care of Altimatum and the re-opposing Granny McPhee. Amanda Perrett's charge looked likely to get up over course and distance nine days ago before The Hague pulled out a bit more to hold on. He gets to run off the same mark here and, with conditions identical, the colt should take some beating with Jim Crowley back aboard. Granny McPhee ran well enough when back in fourth that day and could do better with a stronger pace likely here, however she's got it all to do off the same terms and can be opposed. Altimatum finished first passed the post on his sole start here before being disqualified and as he's slipping down the weights a big run is likely, especially as he's had a recent run to blow away the cobwebs. Dancer's Legacy hasn't yet won over this trip but shapes as though he stays so must be given each-way claims along with Golden Prospect, a dual course winner who could spring back in to life now returned to the south coast, but Blue Tango looks set to take the world of beating.
