Although Short Cut is 7lbs better off with WELSH OPERA for not much more than a length when the pair met at Yarmouth, the latter has a much more solid look to his form and is taken to prevail once again. The Stuart Williams-trained selection went up 6lbs for that success, but was beaten at Folkestone last time. Now dropped back 2lbs and over 6f once again, he looks to have every chance given that he has scored from higher marks in the past. Short Cut should be able to turn the tables, but has had plenty of chances so far without a win and just looks one-paced. Interactive is 8lbs lower than his sole success, which came in a Kempton seller over this trip, but he does struggle in handicaps and is not one to trust with the life savings. Diane's Choice would prefer cut in the ground to produce her best, and while Boldinor has never won on ground this quick he has run well in defeat and is not badly handicapped. Freepressionist would appeal more if this were at Dunstall Park and we will take Welsh Opera to score.
