An open handicap to kick-start the day and narrow preference is for Support Fund ahead of Myfrenchconnection and Night Wolf. A winner a week ago at the track, Eve Johnson Houghton's progressive filly is fancied to win again. She is effective on any ground and assuming that she gets the extra furlong today (has disappointed at around this trip in the past), then she looks a horsey force to be reckoned with. Myfrenchconnection is ulta-consistent and having only been beaten a length last time out, he can be expected to run well today off the same mark. He is creeping up the handicap but as a fairly lightly-raced three-year-old he may have more to give. Border Edge knows how to win and this multiple course winner should not be underestimated despite a wide draw. Seneschal comes here on the back of an all-weather win and is able to race off a lower mark now back on the turf. Ten To The Dozen has claims on the pick of his form, whilst The Grey One may appreciate the return to this trip. Night Wolf needs respect as he has run well fresh in the past, whilst Crown Office makes his handicap debut and off a mark of 62 he should be monitored for market support. An open affair, where Support Fund gets the vote.
