Verdict

BARZAN should be hard to beat with Hairspray and Dubawi Phantom the likeliest challengers. Tom Dascombe has saddled five juvenile winners already this season and Barzan signalled that he won't be long in adding to that when running well at Newbury. He was unfortunate to bump into an above average winner there but could be hard to peg back here. Hairpsray is related to a juvenile winner and should go well for a yard that has already sent out a newcomer to score here this season. Dubawi Phantom is a half-brother to the useful Ave but is likely to need every yard of this trip and may do better once sent over further. Midnight Uno has shown ability albeit at a modest level; her experience should stand her in good stead but a place appears to be the best that she can hope for as she has plenty to find with Barzan.
