led, ridden and headed over 1f out, no chance with winner
slowly into stride, ran green and always last, short-lived effort on outside over 2f out
A small field but none are easily dismissed. Branson's earlier third at Windsor looks a similar level of form to Poor Duke's recent second at Yarmouth, though the former disappointed on his latest start. Mirsaale made a promising debut at Newmarket behind subsequent Vintage Stakes fifth Ghurair and is the one to beat on that running but a chance is taken on newcomer HOUSE OF ORANGE. He's a half-brother to four winners including the smart Vista Bella and, despite the long journey down to the south coast, the Johnston yard has an excellent strike rate at this track with it's two-year-old runners.
