Verdict
SWISS CROSS had to be held up from a wide draw at Chester last time and did well to finish a close-up third behind Imperial Djay. He'll be able to race a lot closer to the pace here and a return to winning ways looks on the cards. Buxton goes well at this track and could figure if forgiven his latest below-par effort at Lingfield. He has the beating of Magical Speedfit today, while Caprio has done all his winning in plating company of late. Beaver Patrol has outside claims and makes more appeal than the exposed pair Ghostwing and Aye Aye Digby.
