In depth

Verdict

Shostakovich is interesting racing off a 10lb lower mark after winning three times on the Fibresand at Southwell over the winter. He clearly has leading claims if he can translate that form back to the turf but preference goes STUNNING IN PURPLE. Andrew Haynes' consistent filly has made the frame in all eight starts that includes a win on fast ground at Bath in July and she looks capable of taking this on her seasonal debut. Windsor maiden winner Native Picture is one to note on her comeback, while Fairy Tales makes most appeal of those runners coming off recent runs on the all-weather.
