    Verdict

Yarqus has proven expensive to follow but Clive Brittain's colt looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to open his account and is taken to do so at the main expense of Disco Lights and Psycho Cat. The last mentioned improved on his debut effort when a creditable fourth at big odds at Newbury last week and is entitled to be thereabouts again. Luckylover showed plenty of promise on his only previous start on the soft in Italy and could be anything so has to be watched closely in the market, while Andrew Balding's Overlook has a pedigree that suggests that he will come into his own over middle distances next term. Earl Kraul is difficult to recommend on all known evidence and a bigger threat is likely to come from Amanda Perrett's Disco Lights, who was only beaten two lengths on his Nottingham debut and should appreciate any further rain that falls. Yarqus has an obvious chance on the pick of his form though and he gets the vote to gain an overdue first success.
