In depth

Verdict

Miss Jolyon is the pick of this motley bunch for a low grade mile and a half handicap, preferred to Sea Admiral and Spectrana. If her all weather form can be carried over to the turf she should win for the Jarvis/Callan partnership, which has a 25% strike rate this season. But you may not want such a short price in a low grade handicap. Sea Admiral is probably next best, but he's only got one place to his name when an outsider at Lingfield in September. Since then he¿s disappointed when going off as a favourite at Warwick and Beverley. Chris Catlin¿s the jockey to roust the best out of the gelding, and Spectrana¿s not to be immediately discounted. But Miss Jolyon gets the nod as our pick.
