MR FICKLE won in soft ground at Chepstow in August and ran well again over 1m4f here last time. He gets the nod in his current form ahead of Brown Pete, who was placed over track and trip last month and is 2lb lower today. Syrenka made the frame here earlier but has to be forgiven a woeful effort on the Polytrack last time while both Santo Prince and Hermosa Vaquera have a shout off their current marks. Sutton Sid is upped 5lb for scoring at Lingfield and that may be enough to scupper his chances of following up.
