Verdict

Blue Bounty has been knocking on the door and Thomas Brown's claim should help his cause but we prefer WELSH INLET. A winner over course and distance in April, she's 12lb higher but may still be better treated than fellow Brighton specialist Darnathean who has been treading water off his current mark. Just Isla has been lightly campaigned this year but has a bit to find with the selection on recent running while Kakapuka usually finds at least one too good and the blinkers on Loud suggest he's drinking in the last-chance saloon.
