In depth

Verdict

Brazilian Brush, Speedy Senorita and Jal Brush are the shortlisted trio here with Brazilian Brush the selection. Jal Brush scored at Southwell over a furlong further and is trying the minimum trip for the first time here. He may be run off his feet early on but can stay on to take a place, having been well beaten last time. Speedy Senorita is four pounds higher after a narrow success last time and may prefer the faster ground she encountered last time. She is clearly in good form though and can hit the frame. The lightly raced Brazilian Brush is only two pounds higher for a narrow win last time but he is consistent and relatively unexposed. That win will have lifted his confidence, and Brazilian Brush can maintain his winning form.
