    Verdict

PLUTOCRAFT is the most interesting of this bunch and is taken to account for Dutiful and Louisiana Gift if everything goes to plan for the James Fanshawe-trained three-year-old. The handicapper has given the selection a rating of 70 after a handful of starts at around this trip. The gelding comes here on the back of a solid effort at Warwick last time out and will be very hard to master if he is in the same frame of mind today. Louisiana Gift had his frailties exposed in a Leicester seller 16 days ago; his moderate second to a 55-rated winner hardly leaps from the page as inspiring reading. He does, however, act on a switchback track and, with Seb Sanders in the plate; his connections seem to have most things covered in a bid to turn a profit. Similar comments apply to Dutiful, who has at least put together a sequence of fair efforts. However, he lacks the scope held by Plutocraft, who despite a rating 8lb higher than the others, would still appear to be the best option as one capable of progressing to a higher level after this.
