Four leading stables clash in what, from a trainer perspective, is an above average maiden for the track. Punditry has already had plenty of chances though whilst Response was below par last time after a promising debut. The latter's yard is in cracking form at present however and there's every chance of the Haggas colt recapturing and building upon debut promise. Rocky Ride is best checked in the market, likewise Apparently, who, apparently, looks the Godolphin first choice on jockey bookings. However, that's not always the way to go with the yard and SADIQ is preferred. He may have needed his comeback run when third to Vital Evidence at Sandown when flattening out late on after an eight-month absence and can step up on that performance here.
